His performance obviously doesn't make up for a rubbish first half display by Spurs. Maybe they got a bit overawed by the occasion. Spurs are at least showing a lot of resilience when they do go behind in games this season. They could have completely capitulated last night and lost 10-0 but ended up getting a very respectable scoreline. It really annoys me how the media immediately look at Bale's performance and start talking about his value and potential suitors. He's only 21 and so often it ends up being the wrong decision when players make their 'dream move' to a massive club. It is going to be difficult to keep him if he keeps this form up especially considerong that achieving Champions League football next season will be so hard to achieve.
Ran rubbish at poker again today. Played a lot of big pots, biggest of which was 9J vs 55 on a 995 flop in a 3-bet pot 200bbs deep at 5/10. Probably going to take a few days off.
